Graphic Designer (Part-Time)

New York, NY (In-person availability is required)

About: Decisive Point is an investment firm focused on critical technologies for defense, energy, and infrastructure.

Decisive Point is hiring a Part-Time Graphic Designer to support the firm’s branding, marketing, and communication efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that communicates the mission of Decisive Point and its portfolio companies to external audiences, including investors, government stakeholders, and the media. The ideal candidate for this role is a creative thinker with a strong design portfolio, excellent technical skills, and the ability to align visuals with a cohesive brand strategy.

Location: New York, NY (Midtown)

Responsibilities:

• Available to work up to 20-hours perm week
• Design and produce marketing materials, including digital assets, presentations, reports, and print collateral, to support Decisive Point’s branding and outreach efforts
• Collaborate with internal teams to create visually engaging content for social media, email campaigns, and web platforms
• Maintain and evolve Decisive Point’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all media
• Create graphics for investor presentations, event materials, and other external communications
• Work on special projects, such as infographics, motion graphics, or video editing, as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skill across multiple mediums (digital, print, web)
• Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience designing for both digital platforms (e.g., social media, websites) and print
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to translate complex ideas into clear and visually engaging graphics
• Familiarity with branding for investment firms, startups, or technology sectors is a plus
