The Senior Director, Partner Marketing, will lead the Partner Marketing strategy across business lines and maximize the mutual value of co-marketing programs. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that will foster strategic partnerships with our customers and ecosystem partners to create mutually beneficial co-marketing programs to drive demand and accelerate revenue. As the hands-on leader of the Partner Marketing team, the role requires building and managing a world-class team while collaborating across product marketing, sales, regions, events, communications, executive leadership, and more. This requires a senior leader that is innovative, nimble, can think at the speed of our technology and execute with precision on a global scale.
What You’ll Drive:
Partner Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Define and lead Qualcomm's global partner marketing strategy, aligning programs to business priorities across our all Snapdragon, Qualcomm and Dragonwing brand segments; elevate the Qualcomm brands through innovative co-marketing programs
- Serve as a senior marketing advisor to Qualcomm's top-tier strategic partners, building relationships at the VP and C-suite level.
- Build and oversee a comprehensive and fully integrated partner marketing framework — encompassing co-marketing programs, market development funds (MDF), joint go-to-market campaigns, and partner enablement content.
- Bring external intelligence to the Marketing team; champion the partner marketing function internally, securing executive alignment and cross-functional support to drive program impact.
Program Development & Execution
- Architect innovative joint marketing campaigns with global partners that drive product awareness, technology leadership, pipeline generation, and market share growth; while elevating the brand.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of partner marketing programs across digital, events, social, PR, and retail channels — ensuring consistency with Qualcomm's brand standards and strategic messaging.
- Lead the planning and execution of Qualcomm's presence at key industry events alongside partner organizations (MWC, CES, Computex, and others).
Market Development & Investment
- Own the MDF strategy and governance model, ensuring investment decisions are aligned to pipeline impact, partner strategic value, and brand objectives.
- Develop ROI frameworks and measurement cadences to assess the effectiveness of partner marketing spend and continuously optimize program performance.
- Identify and support new co-investment opportunities with emerging and growth-stage partners — particularly in AI, automotive, data center and edge computing.
- Articulate the value of Qualcomm partnership to our customers
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with all of the various marketing disciplines to ensure partner programs are integrated into Qualcomm's broader go-to-market efforts.
- Collaborate with regional marketing leads across North America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific to adapt global partner programs for local market relevance and execution.
Team Leadership & Development
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing global partner marketing team, establishing a culture of strategic thinking, creative excellence, and accountability.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that reflects Qualcomm's values of innovation, inclusion, and integrity.
What does success look like for this team?
- Develop annual partner strategy for each tier 1 and 2 partners in collaboration with Sales. Build and implement a partner marketing framework, anchored in strategy, for team to maximize impact of Partner Marketing team and programs.
- Maximize co-marketing investments and strengthen mutually beneficial relationships across key partners (1+1=3)
- Capitalize on strategic brand partnerships (existing and new) and Qualcomm Marketing to accelerate product awareness and understanding, showcase technology in the context of audience passions, leveraging community, and propel brands towards iconic brand status. Leverage Qualcomm’s marketing efforts to collaborate with partners and amplify for mutual success.

This is an office based position located in San Diego, CA and is expected to comply with the company's onsite work policy. This is a U.S. based position and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.OR
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 11+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
High school Diploma or equivalent and 13+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in related field.
- Proven experience in developing and executing complex co-marketing strategies with measurable results.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and maximize ROI from a variety of marketing budgets and MDF programs
- Proven experience leading matrixed teams to develop and execute co-marketing programs that drive mutual value.
- Strong executive presence; ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business objectives into co-marketing strategy.
- Strong understanding of the technology industry, particularly in areas relevant to Qualcomm's business (e.g., mobile, IoT, automotive).
- Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly matrixed global environment.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$226,900.00 - $340,300.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
