- Technical expertise with modern video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom Rooms, Google Hangouts/Meet, Microsoft Teams Rooms)
- Extensive experience with a wide range of AV hardware for both conferencing and live events, including control systems (Crestron, Extron), audio DSPs (Biamp, QSC), and microphone systems (Shure)
- Proven experience in a lead role for live event production and technical support
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently, from conception and design to implementation and support
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience directing other technical staff
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Experience managing vendor relationships and overseeing project budgets
Nice to have:
- Industry certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or CTS-D (Design)
- Experience with live streaming technologies and platforms (e.g., OBS, Vimeo, YouTube Live)
- A solid understanding of networking principles as they apply to AV systems (AV-over-IP, QoS)
