We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.
About the Role:
Applied Intuition is looking for an Onboarding Program Manager to own both the strategy and the execution of our global onboarding program. This is a builder role: you will design the vision for how onboarding should work as we scale into new regions and functions, and you will personally run the operational details that make each new hire’s first weeks excellent. You’ll report into the People team and partner closely with Recruiting, People Operations, IT, and business leaders to make onboarding a competitive advantage rather than an afterthought.
You own the program end to end: setting the strategic direction, designing the systems and content, and executing the week-to-week orientation and stakeholder work that brings it to life. The person who thrives here has already built (or substantially rebuilt) a first-in-class onboarding or people program, knows how to translate a company’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and values into a new hire’s lived experience, and is comfortable operating in the ambiguity of a fast-growing, global organization.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
Own the end-to-end strategy for our global onboarding program — setting the vision, roadmap, and success metrics for how new hires join and ramp at Applied Intuition
Design onboarding as a first-in-class program: benchmark externally, identify what “great” looks like, and build (or substantially redesign) the resources, milestones, and touchpoints a new hire moves through
Embed Applied Intuition’s Company Values and Employer Value Proposition into the program, ensuring the onboarding experience is a credible, felt expression of what we promise employees — and partner with the broader People team to extend that thread across the employee lifecycle
Develop and facilitate weekly company-wide orientation for new hire cohorts at company HQs.
Support team-specific onboarding programs with technical expertise, partnering with functional leaders to tailor the core program to their needs
Project-plan and execute changes to the program based on structured feedback from new hires and stakeholders, closing the loop from insight to shipped improvement
Partner with People Operations, IT, and other enablement teams to ensure every system, account, and touchpoint is ready before a new hire’s first day
Triage and resolve onboarding-related issues or questions in real time, acting as the front line for a great new-hire experience
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a People or HR-related role.
Demonstrated experience building or substantially revising a first-in-class onboarding (or comparable people) program, including ownership of both the strategic design and the operational rollout
A track record of designing programs that explicitly connect to and reinforce an organization’s Employer Value Proposition and culture
Success managing enterprise-level programs and projects, ideally across multiple regions or business units
A detail-oriented, data-driven mindset paired with strong presentation and communication skills
The ability to anticipate change and pivot quickly to protect a great new-hire experience as the business scales
A proactive approach to problem-solving — you don’t just spot gaps; you fill them with speed and quality
Nice to Have
Fluency in Google Apps, Ashby, Workday, Slack, Jira
PMP or PgMP certification
Don’t meet every single requirement? If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
