Join our dynamic team as the lead point of contact for all IT Support Issues. In this role, you'll take charge of maintaining and procuring current and future IT equipment, ensuring exceptional customer service that goes beyond expectations for our employees, contractors, and customers. Collaborate closely with the VP of Cybersecurity to uphold our high cybersecurity standards and enhance the security posture of our evolving infrastructure.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Take the lead in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new staff.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage and track open IT issues and projects to successful closure.
  • Provide comprehensive IT related training for current employees and initial IT training for new employees.
  • Mentor interns and prospective IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Collaborate with the VP, Cybersecurity to devise a strategic hiring plan for the evolving IT/Security organization
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Solid troubleshooting experience with operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux), networking (Cisco, Juniper, Unifi), and various environments (Google Workspace, Microsoft, Confluence/Jira and GitHub)
  • Previous experience in Help Desk / Customer Support.
  • Proficient in hardware troubleshooting with laptops (PC & Mac), servers, and networking devices.
  • Capability to work independently While demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability to function effectively in a high-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills

Education and Experience

  • A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering is preferred but not required
  • 3+ years work experience
  • Career changers are welcome

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment including computers, networking devices, batteries and backup equipment.
  • Assist with Facility/Physical Security as needed, such as badging, access control, and handling shipping and receiving packages.
