We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to build, formalize, and operate our warehouse and material control functions in a regulated nuclear manufacturing environment. This role owns end-to-end warehouse operations—including receiving, inspection, inventory control, kitting, internal material movement, packaging, and shipping—while establishing compliant, auditable processes that support safe, traceable, and scalable production.
This is a foundational role. You will build on an existing operation, document and standardize processes, implement systems and metrics, and continuously improve warehouse performance as production volume and regulatory complexity increase.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control
Own all warehouse activities across inbound, internal, and outbound material flow
Support manufacturing schedules through accurate, timely inventory movement and kitting
Allocate labor and resources to meet operational and production demands
Build & Scale the Warehouse
Design and evolve the physical warehouse layout, including racking, staging, inspection, and shipping areas
Establish digital inventory structure, including location control, labeling, serialization, and traceability
Select, implement, and optimize ERP/WMS tools, barcoding, and inventory controls in alignment with nuclear quality requirements
Compliance, Documentation & Quality
Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training materials
Ensure warehouse operations meet nuclear quality, safety, and audit-readiness standards
Identify process gaps and implement compliant improvements
Inventory Accuracy & Performance
Maintain high inventory accuracy through disciplined transactions, cycle counts, and controls
Manage discrepancies, nonconformances, and inventory risk communication
Establish and track KPIs for receiving, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment
Continuous Improvement & Leadership
Drive lean improvements, reduce waste, and identify automation opportunities
Hire, train, and lead warehouse personnel as the operation scales
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
5+ years of warehouse or materials management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (nuclear, aerospace, defense preferred)
Experience building or formalizing warehouse operations, systems, and processes
Strong knowledge of inventory control, traceability, and production support
Experience with ERP/MRP and warehouse management systems
Proven people leadership with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset
What Success Looks Like

Accurate, traceable inventory enabling uninterrupted production
Documented processes, trained staff, and clear performance metrics
A scalable warehouse foundation ready for future growth
